Beep! Beep! British Car Show in Mead Garden a smashing success last Saturday.
Mark you calendar for next year.

dugs big racing

Saturday, April 10th saw several thousand local citizens and visitors from as far away as England enjoying 152 British Cars in the shade of beautiful Mead Gardens in Winter Park, Florida. The 26th Annual All British Car Show hosted by 4 local English car clubs ( Austin Healey, Jaguar, MG, and Triumph) and organized through the British Car Breakfast Club of Central Florida brought together over 35 British car marques for the public to enjoy free of charge. Our Chamber of Commerce did an outstanding job with the weather as the temperature moderated at about 75 degrees through out the day under clear skies and light breezes. Show Chairwoman Diana Moore, aided by many volunteers from the various clubs organized and carried out another prefect show. As in past years the majority of the entrants were local owners with about 25% coming from all points of Florida. Many enjoyed the Meet & Greet on Friday night at the host hotel, Best Western Mt.Vernon Inn and stayed in Winter Park to enjoy shopping and dining on Park Ave through the Sunday British Car Breakfast Club breakfast. This year's Best of Show went to Peter Clark and his exquisite 1948 Jaguar Mark IV. Next years show is scheduled once again for Mead Garden on April 2, 2011 where it all began 27years ago. The Friends of Mead Gardens and the British Car Breakfast Club members invite you to mark your calendars now!

Cheers Y'all
